Airship Campaigns - Hardcover Book

Love the detail for working and warfare on the airship. Love the races that are available. I’ll have to comeback once we’ve played!

I’m a 20 year permanent DM and happy with it. Lately, I’ve been running an airship/crystal magic punk styled campaign for a couple of months. I came across an ad for this book only a couple of weeks ago and thought to myself, why not? When I say that this book evolved each and every single mechanic I put together for the game I’ve been running I mean that it completely fleshed out things that I only barely approached. This book made the game real. Think of it like this, this book is to my game like a modern video game console is like to the Atari. Blue-Ray to my VHS.

Ship to ship combat, stat blocks for airships with stats for individual parts and even an assortment of magical items that all synergizes with my campaign. My campaign was good and fine before this book but after, I know good and well that my campaign will be legendary.

The art is very well done. Everything is broken down in such ways that even a new DM would be able to run a game using it. The page and cover quality are top notch. I honestly wish I had the PDF version along with the physical copy. I’ve regretted getting a good handful of other primers or books over the years but this one really was worth every single penny.

I’ve been looking for a good way to incorporate ships into a campaign and what I’ve discovered so far in this book delivers more than I was expecting. All in all very positive manner. And with just a few tweaks. This can be incorporated. In underwater, Sea, and space campaigns as well.

Now if we can get something for smaller vehicles and chases. I’d be set…….

I’ve always tried to incorporate airships into campaigns but never quite got it right. This book gets it and has so much information packed into it! If you need something interesting and unique to add to your campaign, this book will do the trick and will take your players to places they simply couldn’t have imagined by themselves! It’s thick. It’s well made. It colorful and beautiful. But best of all, it’s full of new everything for you to use and build into your existing campaign or start a whole new campaign with. Great even as a standalone book with setting if you aren’t going to use one of the existing settings available or homebrew your own. This book truly is amazing.
