Airship Map Tiles 6 Pack Bundle

Just received my set (which I ordered alongside the hardcover book, which I'll review separately when I've had a look).

An issue I've had with ship and airship maps of this type in the past is that they seem to have shrunk the ships to fit the predetermined map size. That's not a problem here, though -- the bigger ships use 10 sheets per deck for something that feels like a grand cruiser than an inflatable dinghy. Having the props and furniture (whether bunks and cargo or cannons and arcane steam engines) as reusable stickers instead of printed into the map means even more flexibility (and the whole set of ships' worth of props, along with compatibility with other reusable-sticker map systems). I'll probably be using some of these as sailing-ship maps, too -- just declare that the sky-blue backgrounds are actually sea-blue instead.

I haven't figured out a preferred way to piece the "tiles" together to make a map of a deck movable as one piece. With the size of the individual decks, even a good-sized gaming table won't fit all decks of one of the larger ships at once, so there will be some moving around -- maybe some finish-safe tape along the back sides of the seams.

No complaints :) Everything looks just as advertised and is great quality. Can't wait to use them in a game!

I haven't actually gotten to use these tiles yet, but I did lay them all out, and hey look great. I am very happy with my purchase. :-)
